Seattle Trip Notes
In 2025, The Joker took the Cinch Trippers to the Emerald City: Seattle, WA.
The trip started bright and early at Pike Place Bar & Grill for a couple rounds of their signature garlic breath mimosas before joining our buddy Scott for an amazing culinary tour of Pike Place Market. After checking out the huge variety of shops in the market, we decided we couldn’t visit Seattle without stopping by its top attraction, the world-famous Gum Wall. Yep, the Gum Wall has a Wikipedia and you don’t, you loser.
From there we took a short walk to Waterfront Park to check out the Seattle Great Wheel, where we got amazing views of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. By then it was time to check into our hotel, but not before we were stopped by a kind local man warning us about the evil ladies walking ahead of us. But hey, “Now you f___ing know!”
Our stay was at The Paramount Hotel, where we met the one and only Concierge Jennifer, who impressed all of us with her bright smile and deep knowledge of the area’s best eateries. By that point it was getting pretty late in the afternoon, but we decided to power through the jet lag and headed back down to the waterfront one more time for dinner at Anthony’s.
On day two we had to check out the Space Needle, and it didn’t disappoint. A couple of us even got the opportunity to take the stairs all the way down the entire needle on the way out. We’re pretty sure this has only been done by a handful of people in history, but don’t fact check that. After the needle, we walked through the nearby park and toured the Museum of Pop Culture before bar hopping our way back down to Pike Place for some wine tasting and more shopping.
Seattle turned out to be a perfect cinch get-away for our group. So what’s in store next year?
The Seattle Reveal
As always, our destination was revealed once we got through airport security. The Joker chose to let us in on the destination through a recorded message. Not only had he been giving us what now seem like obvious clues all along, he had literally spelled out where we were going in a group text sent a couple weeks earlier.
The Joker’s text:
Hello fellow cinch sackers. A few notes on your up and coming adventure:
We are leaving in 10 days, are you ready for it?
Everyone needs to pack there luggage appropriately for our destination, this is super important
Aaron or Chris which one of you would be so kind to haul all are asses down there
Really need to know this one in the next couple days with your license plate so I can buy the parking
Erica still doesn’t know where we are going in case any one was pondering that
Got the all clear from the lollipop guild, you all can breath a sigh of relief, no mystery to solve here or there anymore
Obviously the plane tickets are paid for, the hotel rooms are only reserved, so those will be paid for by each couple when we check in
In case I forget, I also reserved a few other things, remind me to cancel if we decide not to
None of these planned activities involves putting your life in danger…I hope
Good comfortable shoes will be a wise choice
The weather will be warm
Or it could be cool, I will update you on this later this weekend
Sunday when we get back should be before 5:00
Everyone will be assigned a little special task, This will add to your experience
Alarms will be going off early, and so is our flight, let’s plan to be there at 5:00 Am
There will be plenty of things to do for everyone
