We're Headed to Nashville!
That’s right, challengers! We’re hours away from our adventure in Music City where we’ll learn more about country music than any of us ever wanted, taste some of the best barbecue and hot chicken in the South, experience our very first honky-tonk, and even check out a full-scale replica of the Parthenon. Let’s go! Nashville awaits!

Activities
We’re booked on Friday for an Old Town Trolley Tour, an all day hop-on / hop-off style site seeing tour bus. Beyond that, I have some ideas below, but basically we’ll just do whatever we want!
Here's a rough idea of what we could do...
Day 1
- Hop the Trolley at Stop 1: Marathon Motor Works
- Check out Stop 2: Centennial Park
- Hot chicken & BBQ for lunch at Stop 3: Midtown
- Check out Stop 4: Belmont Museum, Stop 5: The Gulch, Stop 6: Union Station Hotel
- Drop off bags at the hotel by Stop 7: Country Music HOF
- Drive through Stop 8: 201 Broadway and get out at Stop 9: Ryman Auditorium
- Those stops are super close to each other so we can double back and check out what sounded interesting
- Continue the Trolley tour through the remaining three stops or spend the evening around Riverfront Park
- Continuing with the trolley kind of puts us back to nowhere so we’ll need to Uber to our evening spot
- Riverfront Park could be a good spot to end a long day. Not sure how late we can make Day 1…
- Ole Smoky Distillery & Yee-Haw Brewery is an option if we want to cut the day short and chill closer to the hotel
Day 2
- Brunch at Pinewood Social
- Do a Music Museum Tour or two (these are right around our hotel):
- Spend the evening on the famous Honky Tonk Highway
- Or check out Day 3 for other ideas for the day
Day 3
- Our late flight (5:30 take-off) gets us one more day in town to catch anything left on our list
- The Gulch is a walkable neighborhood with popular shops and eats:
- Biscuit Love or Milk & Honey for brunch (bring your coffee because you’ll wait for a table)
- Nashville has all sorts of other stuff to do like:
